Our menu follows the seasonality of the local territory: Spoil yourself in the summer with a plate of ‘Pappa al pomodoro’, a fresh tomato soup you will remember for a very long time, and in the winter, warm yourself to the bones with a dish of our ‘Ribollita’, a simple but genuine vegetable soup from our rich tradition..
Don’t miss our selection of pasta dishes! For example the very popular buckwheat ‘Tagliatelle del Saracino’, which has become one of our iconic dishes and combines mint pesto, capers, chives, cherry tomatoes and crunchy almonds. A real taste treat!
Special mention goes to our meat, all of which boasts an origin from the farms of the Manetti Butcher’s shop which has been offering products of the best Tuscan tradition at the Central Market of San Lorenzo since 1982. On our menu you will find the classic Florentine steak from adult cattle raised in Italy, the tender Maremma steak with its intense flavour, and the fine Chianina which is famous the world over. Massimo Manetti himself, in the dual role as representative of the Osteria Cipolla Rossa and as President of the Central Market of San Lorenzo, constantly guarantees the origin and quality of all our products.
At Cipolla we don’t mess around with steak, and use only breeds chosen directly by the Manetti family!

We want to share the pleasures of our table with you, and so the wine can certainly not be missing. Our beloved Tuscany is well represented here at Cipolla Rossa with the greats of the territory such as Brunello, Chianti Classico, Montalcino and Montepulciano, but also small niches of producers with an organic and biodynamic vocation.
